Malcolm Turnbull is an Australian politician who served as the 29th Prime Minister of Australia from September 2015 to August 2018. He was elected to Federal Parliament as the Member for Wentworth in 2004 and has held various parliamentary positions, including Shadow Treasurer, Minister for Environment and Water Resources, and Minister for Communications. Turnbull was the Leader of the Opposition from 2008 to 2009. He is currently the President of the International Hydropower Association (IHA) and Managing Director of Turnbull & Partners Pty Limited. Educated at Sydney University and Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar, Turnbull has a background in law. He is married to Lucy and has two children and four grandchildren.
