Max Kausman is founder of Advance VC, Australia's first dedicated secondaries fund-of-funds, buying stakes in Australian and New Zealand venture funds from investors seeking liquidity. The fund has built exposure to more than ten local venture funds and over 200 portfolio companies, including Canva and Airwallex. He has invested in venture capital since 2020, previously deploying more than $20 million at Tidal Ventures and working as an angel investor, and has held advisory roles at Bain & Company and Vesparum Capital.
