Meet Alan Noble
Alan Noble is a serial entrepreneur and executive with over three decades of technology leadership and management experience. He is the founder of AusOcean, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping oceans through technology, established in 2017. Alan is also the co-founder of The Koala Sanctuary on Kangaroo Island, aimed at conserving the iconic koala species. Previously, he served as the Engineering Director at Google Australia, where he oversaw the growth of Google's Sydney Engineering Centre. Alan has been involved in various advisory roles, including advising the Chief Scientist of Australia and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science/AI from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Adelaide. Alan is passionate about ocean conservation and is an avid sailor.
