I work across venture capital and the startup ecosystem, bringing investors, founders and policymakers together to improve how capital flows.

I lead Equity Clear, an initiative working with investors, government and ecosystem leaders to build the infrastructure needed to measure and address structural gaps in startup funding. Through Show Us the Data, we are developing Australia’s first Common Data Standard for investor diversity reporting - bringing visibility to the investment pipeline and helping the sector move from anecdote to evidence.

Alongside this work, I operate within the venture ecosystem supporting founders and investors. As Operating Partner at Black Nova VC, I run the Venture Partner program and portfolio support, helping early-stage companies navigate growth, capital and scale, and serve on the Investment Committee at Climate Tech Partners, backing climate technology startups.

My perspective is shaped by experience across the full startup lifecycle. As co-founder of UrbanYou, I built a national marketplace platform that expanded Australia-wide and exited via trade sale. Since then I’ve advised, mentored and supported hundreds of early-stage founders through roles with Black Nova VC, Tractor Ventures and Startmate.

Earlier in my career I worked as a lawyer in Sydney and London and later served as General Counsel at Yahoo!7, leading governance, regulatory engagement and complex commercial negotiations.
