Shane Chanel is founder and chief executive of Kobble, an Australian Banking-as-a-Service platform and Mastercard principal issuer that powers fintechs, neobanks and embedded finance products. He built Kobble after founding digital payments platform Yondr Money, whose years of licensing, vendor integration and core banking work directly inspired Kobble as a faster route for other builders. Since launching in December 2024, Kobble has secured more than $24.3 million in contracts. Chanel studied banking, finance and financial planning at Deakin University. On Life After Launch, he spoke about resilience through the hardest days of building a startup.
