Rowan McNamee
Co-Founder & COO at Mary Technology
Rowan McNamee is co-founder and chief operating officer of Mary Technology, a Sydney-based legal-tech startup he founded in 2023 with Daniel Lord-Doyle, Harry Raworth and Luke Abagi after working as a junior lawyer frustrated by the manual, disorganised process of building a case chronology. The company, named after his aunt, Melbourne barrister Mary McNamee, builds a fact-management platform that helps litigation teams extract and organise case facts faster, and counts firms including Shine Lawyers, Maurice Blackburn and Hall & Wilcox as customers. Mary Technology closed an A$7 million seed round led by OIF Ventures in 2026 after achieving tenfold annual recurring revenue growth in 2025, and is expanding into the US market. He discussed this on Founders in Motion.
