Michael Winlo is co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Emyria, the ASX-listed mental health biotech, having stepped back from the chief executive role in 2025 to focus on the company's real-world evidence research, clinical trials and drug discovery programs for psychedelic-assisted therapies. He previously spent nine years as chief executive of Linear Clinical Research, Perth's dedicated early-phase clinical trial unit, and before that led the health team at Palantir Technologies in Silicon Valley. A medical doctor with an MBA from Stanford, he holds several data analysis patents. On What The Health, he discussed psychedelic medicine's shift from counterculture to clinical treatment.
