Kim Hansen is co-founder and CEO of Cake Equity, a Gold Coast-founded fintech that simplifies equity management for startups and scaleups across Australia, New Zealand and the United States. Originally from Denmark, he spent more than 20 years in product and technology before starting as a technical founder and moving into the CEO role. Cake Equity lets founders manage cap tables, issue stock options globally and run capital raises from one platform, with a stated goal of helping a million founders build equity ownership. Hansen now splits his time between Australia and the US, where growth is a key focus.
