Ken Fitzpatrick is founder and director of Patterned Security, a Sydney cybersecurity consultancy helping organisations embed governance, risk, architecture and assurance practices into project delivery. He has more than 20 years' experience across cybersecurity strategy, architecture, engineering and operations, with earlier roles at Westpac Group, Transport for NSW and Gyfon. Fitzpatrick created securitypatterns.io, a resource site on writing and applying security patterns, and speaks regularly at industry events including the Australian Cyber Conference. On Secured by Galah Cyber, he discussed why security design keeps failing in practice and how organisations can fix it.
