Katelyn Lesse is Head of Platform Engineering at Anthropic, leading the teams that turn Claude into APIs, developer tools and infrastructure for autonomous software, including Claude Managed Agents. Before Anthropic, she led Connect engineering at Stripe, overseeing Stripe Accounts v2, and was a senior engineering director at Betterment, running Betterment for Business engineering before leading cash-management engineering. Lesse treats agent infrastructure as a distributed-systems problem, emphasising durable sessions, secure execution and credential boundaries, and argues product managers become more valuable, not less, as engineers ship faster with AI.
