My story started at a very young age of 9 with a curiosity to dismantle the VCR. I just had to know how that thing worked, I knew it wasn’t magic! 🪄

Years later, I started a MySpace CSS business selling custom MySpace themes to fund my battle bot interest. Trial, error, and duct tape, proved very unsuccessful in winning any “real” titles.

From there my curiosity and love of building and solving problems led me into a world of digital marketing, business and working with clients of all sizes. After 6+ years I had a lot to give and to learn, so I took on the opportunity to challenge myself by taking on various engineering, product and lead roles with some of the best corporate, startups and scaleups in Australia. The people, challenges and learning's over those years have given me tools to go out and solve the real world challenges Phinly is focused on.

Oh, and in case you're wondering, sadly no, that VCR never worked again. Although, one microwave and a couple of CD-ROM drives later and the recovery process had greatly improved 😅
