Cordelia King co-founded Superstat in 2025 alongside Kai Bloomfield and Sam Hung, building an AI platform that turns raw match footage into professional-grade sports analytics for teams that cannot afford a data department. The Melbourne-based startup uses computer vision to generate stats, highlights and performance insights automatically, starting with basketball. Superstat has raised $3.5 million in pre-seed funding led by Blackbird, passed 5,000 active users across Europe and the US, and joined Startmate's Summer '26 accelerator cohort. The team is now expanding into Austin, Texas to tap the city's sports and tech talent pool. On Founders in Motion, King discussed turning a single-phone-video idea into a $3.5 million AI pivot.
