Benjamin Plummer is co-founder and chief executive of Dragonfly, a Sydney firm that buys established services businesses and rebuilds them as AI-native companies. He spent nearly a decade at Bridgewater Associates working alongside Ray Dalio before leading the spin-out of Elemental Cognition with IBM Watson's creator. He then became chief executive of Invisible Technologies, growing it past US$160 million in revenue with more than 400 staff and clients including OpenAI, Google and Microsoft; Inc. 5000 ranked it the second-fastest-growing AI company in the US. On In The Blink Of AI with Georgie Healy, he discussed AI's real bottleneck and why he is betting on Australia's services economy.
