Andrea Gardiner is the Founder, CEO, and Chief Investment Officer at Jelix Ventures, a venture capital firm based in Sydney, Australia. With a passion for backing daring technology founders, Andrea has made 128 investments across 39 startups, focusing on early-stage deep tech and SaaS businesses. Jelix Ventures manages over $50 million, investing in innovative technology with strong competitive advantages in large markets.Andrea's career spans roles in investment banking at Lehman Brothers and corporate banking at the Bank of Scotland, where she initiated and scaled profitable business ventures. She co-founded WinVC, a not-for-profit initiative to accelerate the progress of women venture capital investors.Andrea holds degrees in Law, Behavioral Science, and Social Work, and is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. An accomplished climber and skier, she has represented Australia in world championships and supported her athletic pursuits through entrepreneurial ventures.
