Dr Catriona Wallace is a globally recognised AI ethicist, entrepreneur, and Adjunct Professor at AGSM, UNSW. She is one of the world’s leading voices on responsible AI, leadership transformation, and the intersection of technology and humanity.

A former Shark on Network Ten’s Shark Tank Australia (2023), Catriona has been named a Global Power Woman (UK), recognised by the Australian Financial Review as one of the Most Influential Women in Business & Entrepreneurship, and by LinkedIn as a Top Voice in Technology.

She is the author of Rapid Transformation and co-author of Checkmate Humanity: The How and Why of Responsible AI, exploring how leaders must evolve in an age of accelerating intelligence.

Catriona is Founder of the Responsible Metaverse Alliance and Chair of venture fund Boab AI. She previously founded Ethical AI Advisory (now part of the Gradient Institute) and Flamingo AI, one of the world’s first ASX-listed AI companies, which exited in 2020.

She holds a PhD in Organisational Behaviour and an Honorary PhD in Business, and has received Advance Australia’s highest award in Technology & Innovation. She has been recognised by the Royal Institution of Australia as one of the nation’s most eminent scientists.

Earlier in her career, she co-founded ACA Research and Fifth Quadrant—both operating successfully for over two decades—and served as a police officer.

A human rights advocate and mother of six, Catriona works at the frontier of leadership. She has trained extensively with Indigenous communities globally and is a leader in the Psychedelic Renaissance.
