Annie Parker is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in the digital startup, technology, and consulting sectors. She has a proven track record in building ecosystems, launching and running startup accelerator programs, and delivering business results in high-profile commercial roles. Annie is a passionate advocate for paying it forward, actively coaching and mentoring founders to help them achieve their full potential. Recognized as one of the 100 Women of Influence in Australia by the Australian Financial Review in 2018, she also won the Most Progressive Workplace Leader award by Talent Unleashed in 2017.Annie has held significant roles, including Executive Director of Tech Central at the Greater Sydney Commission, where she led the establishment of Sydney and Australia’s largest tech innovation hub. Before that, she was a senior leader in Microsoft's Global Startups team, focusing on Equity and Inclusion and Social Impact partnerships. She co-founded Techfugees Australia, a movement connecting the tech ecosystem with refugees, and Code Club Australia, a network of coding clubs for children.Currently semi-retired and living in Tasmania, Annie continues to inspire and support the tech community through various initiatives and mentorship.
