Allegro Energy

Startup

Allegro Energy makes electrical energy storage safe, efficient, sustainable and affordable. Whether in electric mobility, medium to large-scale energy storage or uninterrupted power supply, Allegro's proprietary technology brings us one step closer to a zero carbon economy.

Allegro Energy was founded in 2021 by a small group of scientists at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. The founders discovered a new type of water-based electrolyte that offers a wealth of advantages over "classic" electrolytes without compromising performance. The technology works in different types of energy storage devices such as supercapacitors and flow batteries. At Allegro Energy, we design customised energy storage solutions for a wide range of applications using our new, green technology.
