Jessy Wu is founder and Managing Director of Encour, a strategic communications agency for the tech sector that she launched in Sydney in July 2024. Before that she spent three years at AfterWork Ventures. She joined as the firm's first employee in 2021 and worked with hundreds of founders while the $20 million early-stage fund backed 30 companies. Wu writes a regular column for the Australian Financial Review, has contributed to Forbes and co-hosts the Gen Z Explained podcast. Her debut novel, Good Intentions, is published by Pan Macmillan Australia. She holds degrees in philosophy and English literature from ANU.
