Redactive is an enterprise AI enablement platform that assists regulated organisations in securing and preparing their unstructured operational data for AI applications, such as co-pilots. It also provides engineering teams with tools to develop their own AI use cases securely with any large language model (LLM). Founded in 2023 by former Atlassian product managers Andrew Pankevicius and Alexander Valente, along with AI engineer Lucas Sargent, Redactive addresses the shortage of AI engineering and security skills within enterprise software teams. Their platform manages complex data engineering tasks, including data connectors, indexing, and permissions, ensuring enterprise security and compliance while enabling developers to focus on creating innovative AI-powered applications.

Alex Valente is a co-founder of Redactive AI, an enterprise AI enablement platform that assists regulated organisations in securely preparing their unstructured operational data for AI applications. Before founding Redactive AI in September 2023, Valente gained extensive experience in enterprise software development. He holds degrees in Electrical Engineering and Law, which provided him with a strong foundation in both technical and regulatory aspects of technology implementation. Early in his career, Valente ventured into entrepreneurship by developing hardware solutions for the equine industry, specifically gate sensors for racehorses to detect injuries. Although this startup did not achieve long-term success, it offered valuable insights into business development and customer service.
