Personal Mission:

I'm passionate about building global-minded B2B SaaS companies, with a big focus on scaling GTM engine and helping people grow.

Intro:

A defining chapter in my professional life was my time as the Founding CRO at Simpro. When I joined, it was a lesser known AU startup. However, during my time there, the company experienced hyper growth, accomplishing significant milestones, surpassing the $100M ARR in USD mark and reaching well over a billion dollars in valuation.

Key Achievements:

I led a thorough redesign and execution of playbooks that paved the way for market dominance in home markets and successful expansion into Nth America and EU. Strategic product development, innovative pricing, bundling strategies, and key partnerships were implemented. These initiatives propelled the business to remarkable growth in a relatively short time frame ($10M→$110M+ USD in 5yrs), solidifying its position as a Global leader in Field Service/Job Management sector.

Outcome:

We secured over $550M in investment from US PE firms and executed several M&A transactions >$100M each and generated significant financial returns

Years of industry experience and relationships have given me valuable market insights on a global scene and a competitive advantage. I want to share this knowledge and help others grow, creating a cycle of success.

What am I doing right now?

As a Co-founder & GP at VentureOn Partners, I am working closely with exceptional B2B SaaS companies in Australia and NZ. My primary focus is to identify and collaborate with passionate founders running high-potential companies that align with our investment criteria, followed by conducting thorough due diligence.

When companies join our portfolio, I collaborate closely with them to create custom growth strategies that capitalise on their unique strengths and align with specific market opportunities. This process includes formulating go-to-market strategies for various geos, identifying crucial partnerships, and facilitating access to our global network.

Beyond VO:

I participate in activities that support ANZ tech ecosystem, including mentoring, speaking events and hosting the ‘SaaSy Talk Unfiltered Pod’ and writing a newsletter, where I share stories about our guests journey and share insights and practical advice for founders and operators.

Personal Passion:

Hip hop, all things sports in particular basketball, cricket and skiing are the core passions that define me.
