About Trang Nguyen
Trang Nguyen is a co-founder of Transpose Platform, a San Francisco venture firm founded in 2015 that backs early-stage founders and invests as a limited partner in other venture funds. It has invested in more than 150 startups. She is also co-founder and chairman of AGI House Accelerator.
Before Transpose, she was an operator and executive at Trusted Insight, a platform funded by Founders Fund and the Stanford endowment, where she led strategy and product development. She has also led investments at Sutter Health, managing a US$9 billion portfolio, and held roles at Merrill Lynch, Visa and BNY Mellon.
On First Cheque with Cheryl Mack and Maxine Minter, she argued for a platform approach to venture capital, in which firms offer founders scalable services.
