Shoes of Prey

Shoes of Prey was a company that specialized in creating bespoke, hand-made women's shoes designed by the customer. Founded on April 1, 2009, by Jodie Fox, Michael Fox, and Mike Knapp, the company allowed customers to design their own shoes and have them delivered worldwide. It was headquartered in Santa Monica, California, and operated as a private, for-profit company. Despite its initial success and rapid growth, winning awards such as Online Retailer of the Year and Store Design of the Year at the World Retail Awards in 2013, Shoes of Prey closed on July 23, 2019.
