About Maddie Reese
Maddie Reese is an independent builder who makes software and hardware projects with AI coding tools, and takes contract work advising teams and building AI tools. She had no coding background when she started building with tools such as Lovable, Cursor and Replit in mid-2025, and has since won several hackathons, including a Lovable hackathon and a Replay.io vibe-coding contest.
Her projects include Startup Obituary, a memorial generator for failed startups; Pet Hero Comics, which turns pet photos into comic covers; and Raspberry Pi builds such as an open-source system that lets anyone online send messages to a thermal printer, and a pager for X notifications.
