Jing Wei is Lead AI Engineer at Fetch, an Airtree-backed insurtech applying AI to speed up pet insurance claims. The work centres on extracting information from handwritten vet notes, PDFs and other unstructured medical records to cut down manual claims handling. Day to day, Wei works as a full-stack developer while also building LLM-based automation tools for the claims pipeline.
