Alex Logan
Co-Founder & CEO at Cecil
Alex Logan is co-founder and chief executive of Cecil, a Sydney-based natural capital management platform he launched in February 2021 with Rory Oxenham. Cecil helps landholders, developers and investors manage and finance nature-based projects, and now tracks more than 1,500 such projects across over a million hectares in Australia, the United Kingdom and Germany. Startup Daily reported the company raising $2.2 million to grow the platform. Before Cecil, Logan worked in product roles at Sydney startups Beat the Q and Ordermentum after graduating from the University of Technology Sydney. On The Mix with Mick Liubinskas, he discussed unlocking nature's potential through Cecil's approach to climate action.
