About Alex Khor
Alex Khor is a co-founder and partner of AfterWork Ventures, a Sydney venture firm that writes $100,000 to $500,000 cheques into pre-seed and seed startups in Australia and New Zealand, backed by a community of more than 100 tech operators.
He began his career as a research mathematician before working at McKinsey & Company. Around 2017 he and his long-time business partner Adrian Petersen started writing angel cheques into early-stage Australian and New Zealand tech companies, which grew into AfterWork. In 2022 the two were named in the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list for finance and venture capital.
