Megan Sebben

Program Manager

Megan Sebben is a dynamic professional with a passion for small business advocacy and innovation. She currently serves as the Kick-Start Program Manager at CSIRO, where she plays a pivotal role in supporting Australian start-ups by facilitating access to funding and research expertise. Megan is deeply embedded in Australia's start-up ecosystem and is committed to amplifying the voices of diverse founders. In addition to her role at CSIRO, she is a co-host and commentator on Channel 10's "Australia By Design: Innovations."Megan holds a PhD in Groundwater Hydrology and has extensive experience in environmental research and consulting. Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science (Honours) and a Diploma in Language (German), with ongoing studies in Spanish and Italian. She is also a certified fitness instructor.Beyond her professional endeavors, Megan is an enthusiastic herbalist, dancer, rock climber, and art lover. She volunteers in CSIRO's STEM Professionals in Schools program, advocating for the next generation of STEM talent. Megan's diverse interests and expertise make her a valuable contributor to both the scientific and entrepreneurial communities.
