Joey Man

Joey Man is an investment associate at Tenmile, a Melbourne-based life sciences venture fund, where she works across a portfolio of Australian biotech and medtech companies. She holds a PhD in molecular biology from Monash University's Biomedicine Discovery Institute, where her research focused on breast cancer cell signalling and metastasis, and completed postdoctoral work at CSIRO's Future Space platform studying stem cell behaviour in zero gravity. Man previously worked with Main Sequence Ventures on university spin-outs and took part in CSIRO's ON Accelerator before moving into venture investing. She also serves on the boards of Carina Biotech and Aravax. On What The Health, she discussed a working cancer vaccine and the limits of wearable health tech.
