Melanie Mury

Melanie Mury is an Australian architect and co-founder of Mury Architects, a studio specializing in architecture, urban, interior, and heritage design. Based in the Hunter Valley, New South Wales, the firm serves regional NSW, delivering expertise in public buildings, multi-residential, and heritage projects.

In addition to her architectural practice, Melanie is involved in initiatives aimed at promoting inclusivity in sports facilities. With support from the Alastair Swayn Foundation, she is developing a practical design guide intended to assist local governments, sporting bodies, and community clubs in creating facilities that provide equal opportunities and encourage women and girls to participate in sports.

Melanie has also contributed to discussions on architectural design and practice. She was featured on ABC's program "By Design," where she shared insights into her work and the philosophy behind Mury Architects.
