About Dr Catriona Wallace
Dr Catriona Wallace is Executive Chair of Boab AI, an AI scale-up investment program backed by Artesian, and founder of the Responsible Metaverse Alliance. She is an adjunct professor at UNSW's Australian Graduate School of Management and works on responsible and ethical AI.
In 2013 she founded Flamingo AI, an enterprise AI company that listed on the ASX in 2016 and was sold to private investors in 2020; she led it as CEO until 2019. Earlier she co-founded the research firms Fifth Quadrant and ACA Research, and before that served as a police officer. She co-authored Checkmate Humanity: The How and Why of Responsible AI (2022), wrote Rapid Transformation, and was a Shark on Network 10's Shark Tank in 2023.
