Christina Maher is an Australian neuroscientist and biomedical engineer, and founder and CEO of BrainLand, a health-tech startup using AI to build a personalised brain fingerprint to speed early diagnosis and prevention of brain disorders. She spent a decade working across academia and industry with engineers, neuroscientists, clinicians and patients before founding the company. Raised in a low socioeconomic household, she became her family's breadwinner after losing her father to inadequate healthcare, an experience that shaped her drive to improve access to brain health.
