Cheyanne Carter is founder and chief executive of Divergent Education, a Western Sydney start-up applying technology to the early childhood education and care sector. An early-childhood professional since 2011, she has worked across Australia in education, management and consultancy roles and has helped centres achieve top-tier national quality ratings. Carter has become a vocal advocate for sector reform, telling a NSW parliamentary inquiry that oversized classrooms and profit-driven centre design were creating chaotic environments for children and educators.
