Becky Kiil is the founder and operator of Newcastle Afoot, a business offering guided walking tours and cultural experiences in Newcastle, Australia. Originally from Whyalla, northwest of Adelaide, Becky moved to Newcastle around 2016 after working as a clinical disability social worker in Melbourne.
Upon arriving in Newcastle, Becky noticed a lack of guided tours in the city and decided to start her own venture. She launched Newcastle Afoot in July 2017, providing small group walking tours and curated local experiences that explore the city's diverse culture, historic sites, galleries, and local businesses.
