Vexev
Vexev is a Sydney medtech company founded in 2018 by UNSW PhDs Dr John Carroll and Dr Eamonn Colley. It makes VxWave, a robotic, AI-guided ultrasound system that lets non-specialist staff scan blood vessels in the arm, starting with dialysis patients.
In August 2026 it raised a round to fund FDA 510(k) clearance and a US launch. Investors include Blackbird, Neotribe, Startmate and TEN13.
