A lot of companies say they’re “mission-driven.” Our unique corporate structure guarantees that every decision we make upholds our mission: to ensure the internet remains open and accessible. Beholden to neither shareholders nor investors, Mozilla Corporation is wholly owned by the not-for-profit Mozilla Foundation. Along with our communities of 20,000+ contributors and collaborators, Mozilla Corporation’s staff designs, builds, and distributes software that allows people to enjoy the internet on their own terms. Our flagship product — the Firefox browser — has expanded into a family of products that protects users and alerts them of risks, safeguards passwords and provides a secure VPN (with more to come). By maintaining a safe, open internet we're helping humanity, while also helping the individual humans employed here to reach their personal and professional goals. With a relatively small team serving hundreds of millions of people, a culture of exploration, and a commitment to mentorship, opportunities abound to learn and grow at Mozilla.
Team
Experienced CEO leading transformation and growth through product innovation, P&L management, creating engaged, resilient and high performing teams, and outstanding execution / operations. I am passionate about working on hard and interesting problems, and creating significant positive change for humans.
Most recently, I was the CEO of Willow Innovations Inc, who created the world's first wearable, quiet, in-bra pump for breastfeeding mothers. Willow's mission is to bring joy to motherhood!
Prior to Willow, I led the global Core Host division at Airbnb. In that role, I was responsible for ensuring that more hosts join the platform, are set up for success, and thrive as hosts. I also led our Community efforts - ensuring that hosts feel connected, educated and recognized for the great work they do.
Before Airbnb, I led eBay's North American consumer selling and transportation businesses. In this role I oversaw significant business turnaround, revamped the strategic approach, and launched innovative new products and experiences. Over 13 years, I worked at eBay Inc in multiple divisions (Marketplaces, PayPal, Skype, Corporate), multiple regions (APAC, NA, EU) and multiple functions (product, trust, regional business, sales & marketing, operations, customer support, strategy, HR).
Before joining eBay, I worked as a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Co. in Australia.
I have a MBA from Stanford University, and a dual bachelor's in Commerce and Arts from the University of Melbourne (Australia). I am also on the Board of Mozilla Corp.
I have 3 children, a dog, and an English husband (in no particular order). We are based in Silicon Valley, and deeply enjoy engaging with our community, and spending as much time as possible out on the water.
