Rachael Neumann is a prominent figure in the startup ecosystem, currently serving as the Founding Partner at Flying Fox Ventures. With a rich background in technology and entrepreneurship, she has played a significant role in nurturing startups in Australia and New Zealand. Previously, Rachael was the Head of Startups for Amazon Web Services in the region, where she focused on expanding the market and enhancing the quality of startups. She is also a strategic advisor and investor, and a Partner in Startmate, Australia's leading accelerator.Rachael's career includes leadership roles such as Managing Director of Eventbrite Australia and Director of Customer Experience Strategy at Eventbrite. She has also been involved in policy advocacy as the former Chair of the Board for StartupAus and has held a federal ministerial appointment for distributing commercialization funding.Her educational background includes a BA from Stanford University and two Master's degrees from Columbia University. Rachael has been instrumental in shaping the startup landscape in Australia and is passionate about helping companies scale through innovative customer experiences and product development. She resides in Melbourne with her family.

Kylie Frazer

Co-founder and Partner

Kylie Frazer is the co-founder and partner at Flying Fox Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Sydney, Australia. Flying Fox Ventures focuses on helping private investors build diversified technology portfolios and has invested in over 45 Australian startups, including Fresh Equities, Jig Space, Goterra, Mr Yum, and Heaps Normal. Kylie is passionate about early-stage tech investing and regularly contributes to investor education programs at institutions like the Wade Institute, the Australian Graduate School of Management, and Airtree Ventures.With a background as a corporate transactions lawyer, Kylie brings nearly two decades of experience to her role, along with expertise in critical incident response, risk management, and innovation capabilities. She has also founded two technology businesses, providing her with a deep understanding of the founder experience.Kylie holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Technology Sydney, and she has furthered her education with a Graduate Certificate in Change Management from AGSM @ UNSW Business School and participation in the Executive Leadership Forum at Harvard Business School. She is fluent in English and has limited working proficiency in Spanish.
